Job Overview
We are looking for a visionary Head of Channels Sales to spearhead the market expansion of our award-winning IoT and GPS solution suite. As the architect of our sales network, you will initially focus on establishing a dominant presence in the Southern Region before scaling operations to a national level.The ideal candidate possesses a combination of strategic network planning and aggressive execution, with a proven track record in hardware-software integrated sales (IoT/FMS).
Key Responsibilities & Milestones
Phase 1: Southern Region Foundation (Months 1–6)
- Market Mapping: Conduct deep-dive analysis into the FMS, logistics, agriculture, and industrial hubs of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala.
- Partner Recruitment: Identify, vet, and onboard Tier-1 and Tier-2 distributors specialized in FMS, GPS, telematics, automotive electronics, and industrial automation.
Phase 2: National Scaling (Months 6+)
- Network Replication: Roll out the successful Southern model to West, North, and East India.
- Standardization: Develop unified channel policies, margin structures, and SLA frameworks for all national partners.
- OEM & Strategic Alliances: Forge partnerships with vehicle manufacturers, logistics aggregators, and industrial solution providers.
Core Competencies
- FMS, IoT & Tech Savvy: Ability to explain FMS and complex IoT hardware (sensors/gateways) and software (SaaS/Dashboards) value propositions and ROI to non-technical distributors.
- Channel Lifecycle Management: From “hunting” new partners to “farming” existing ones through training, certification, and incentive programs.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10+ years in Sales, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role within the GPS, Telematics, or IoT industry.
- Network: Access to an existing, active network of technology distributors across South India is a major advantage.
- Education: Graduate / PG Degree from a premier institute.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, resilient, and ready to travel extensively to build the network from the ground up.
